Terms of Service

1. Services

GenusPupClub ("we," "us," "our") provides pet care services including dog walking, sitting, daycare, grooming, and transportation in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area. Services are subject to availability and scheduling.

2. Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon acceptance by GenusPupClub. Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made. We accept credit/debit cards, CashApp ($m3lop3z), Venmo, Zelle (Genuspupclub@gmail.com), Apple Pay, and cash.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 24+ hours before the scheduled service receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service fee. No-shows are charged the full service fee. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.

4. Pet Requirements

  • All dogs must be current on rabies, DHPP, and bordetella vaccinations.
  • Owners must disclose any known behavioral issues, aggression, or medical conditions.
  • Dogs must be on flea/tick prevention.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet we determine poses a safety risk.

5. Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your pet's safety, pet care involves inherent risks. GenusPupClub is not liable for injury, illness, or property damage except in cases of gross negligence. Owners are responsible for veterinary costs resulting from pre-existing conditions or behavioral incidents.

6. Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of illness or injury, we will attempt to contact the owner first. If unable to reach the owner, we are authorized to seek emergency veterinary care at the owner's expense, as agreed in the service agreement.

7. Property Access

For in-home services, owners grant our employees access to their property. We are not responsible for damage to property caused by the pet. Keys and access codes are stored securely and returned or destroyed after service.

8. Photos & Media

Unless opted out in the service agreement, GenusPupClub may photograph or video record pets during care for purposes including but not limited to: client updates, social media, website, and marketing materials.

9. Privacy

Personal information is collected only as necessary to provide services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate service to any client for reasons including but not limited to: repeated cancellations, aggressive pets, unpaid balances, or abusive behavior toward staff.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
